The “ISA sets the standard for automation by enabling automation professionals across the world to work together for the benefit of all”. The International Society of Automation (ISA) is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1945,that develops standards, certifies industry professionals, provides education and training, publishes books and technical articles, and hosts conferences and exhibitions for automation professionals.
It provides invaluable knowledge to its 30,000+ members and helps to solve difficult technical problems, a great resource for the automation community. In order for the industry to advance its important to for us to utilize the expertise of these types of organizations. Their knowledge and reach are vast, from countries all over the world; a great avenue for sustainability and productivity.
One way of capitalizing on this education is through their training programs. Our service manager completed their Certified Control Systems Technician® (CCST®) Program, which provided a non-biased, third-party, objective assessment and confirmation of his technical skills, including pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic instrumentation. Not only was this a great learning experience but his certification acts as a reminder to our customers that we always have a skillful member of our team working on their equipment.
